Blackpool Illuminations switch on tonight

In the build-up to the switch-on there’s a free concert available on a first come first served basis. No tickets are required but it’s advisable to get there early. Gates open at 4pm with the concert starting at 6pm.

Clitheroe Castle reopens after £3.5m refurbishment
