It’s almost a century since the infamous, ‘unsinkable’ RMS Titanic set sale on its maiden voyage across the Atlantic, only to sink days later, on 15 April 1912, claiming more than 1,500 lives.
The story of the Titanic has fascinated many, and when the wreckage of the Titanic was discovered in 1985 our interest was peaked again. We’ve seen the movies, we’ve read stories, even seen musicals about the event, but now, if you live in or are visiting London, you see an exhibition of some of the artifacts retrieved from the Titanic’s debris field.
This facinating exhibition, Titanic: The Artefact Exhibition, opened yesterday, 5 November, at the O2 Bubble in London offering the chance to see more than 300 artefacts of the 5,500 retrieved from the infamous RMS Titanic.
Titanic: The Artefact Exhibition can be found at The O2 Bubble in Peninsula Square, London SE10 ODX. The Exhibition is open from November 5th, 2010 until 1 May 2011.
Tickets can be purchased at the O2 Arena Box Office, or online through Ticketmaster.
