After all the recent bad press surrounding Christmas themed attractions is nice to see one venue spreading a little Christmas cheer.

Alton Towers is offering to save Christmas for the poor people left disappointed by their visit to Lapland New Forest by offering a free day out on Saturday 13 December.

Families will be able to meet and greet Santa’s reindeer in the beautiful grounds of the Alton Towers Hotel, before visiting Santa in his hidden grotto.

Morwenna Angove, Sales and Marketing Director for the Alton Towers Resort said: “After hearing the reports that many people were left disappointed at Lapland New Forest, we immediately felt compelled to help. We’re extremely proud of our Christmas events and we go to great lengths to offer a truly enchanting experience for all. We will be adding an extra day of Christmas celebrations on Saturday 13th December especially for those who didn’t have the experience they were hoping for at Lapland New Forest. This extra day of celebration will only be available to those left disappointed at Lapland, and whilst spaces will need to be limited, this is purely to ensure all families experience a fantastic day out at our Resort ”.

Those wishing to visit the Resort should email to pre-book their place or call 0871 222 9901. Guests will need to provide proof of their visit to Lapland New Forest. Spaces are limited to 1500 guests.
